Pools and melioration barriers in Nahý Újezdec

As part of the project, 6 shallow non-flowing pools and 4 stream-shallowing and retarding wooden barriers were built on forest drainage ditches. The measure strengthened water retention in the landscape, helped to balance the water regime in the valley floodplain and supported the creation of biotopes for aquatic plant and animal communities, especially insects and amphibians.
