Renovation of the Lochotínský Park

In the Lochotínský Park, all rainwater flows from paved areas, paths and parking lots into near-natural pools where it fulfils hydrological and microclimatic functions. The pools have become a natural biotope, significantly increasing the biodiversity and aesthetics of the park and improving the moisture and microclimatic conditions. The park as a whole is a functional example of the principles of blue-green infrastructure. In addition, the pools are located on a busy route to the zoo and botanical garden, so their role is also educational, awareness-raising and informative.
