Revitalization of the Novosedelský Brook tributary near the village of Nemanice

The biotope of standing and flowing water, which serves as a local biocentre and at the same time allows migration of aquatic organisms, was created in Nemanice (Domažlice District). Restoration of a defunct through-flow reservoir by creating small ponds has brought an increase in the diversity of species and improved the water regime and the water retention capacity of the landscape.
