Revitalization of the water system near Karlov

Near the village of Karlov, not far from Spálené Poříčí, the water regime in the forest landscape has been improved. An almost vanished water body was revitalized here and pools were built to collect water brought by newly created streams running from forest drainage ditches. That gave rise to an interesting wetland ecosystem to which life returned along with the water.
