Site of European significance Kakejcov

A natural monument and a site of European importance was revitalized (removal of accumulated organic matter from the bottom of the pond) in order to stabilize the habitat and to support the breeding and aquatic developmental phase of the great crested newt (Triturus cristatus). The intervention restored the original pond with a permanent water surface.
